Landscape Maintenance Leader

Job Description:
P&L Landscaping is looking for an experienced Landscape Maintenance Leader to join our maintenance division. This opportunity is open to the right candidate as a full-time year-round position with benefits and tremendous growth potential.
The ideal candidate will:

Landscape Construction Leader
Full Time – Pay Based on Experience – Benefits Package
Job Description:
P&L Landscaping is looking for an experienced Landscape Construction Leader for our landscape design-build department. This opportunity is open to the right candidate as a full-time year-round position with benefits and tremendous growth potential.
The Landscape Construction Leader will manage projects including the construction of walls, patios, fire pits, outdoor kitchens, plantings, lighting, and more. Your duties will include working with and managing the crews through the complete construction process.
The ideal candidate will:

- Able to install segmental retaining walls, paver walk and patios, granite steps.
- Have Winter snowplow/machine experience.
- ICPI, NCMI certifiations preferred.

Irrigation Technician
Full Time – Pay Based on Experience – Benefits Package
Job Description:
P&L Landscaping seeking to hire an experienced Irrigation Technician to join our team. This is a full-time position year-round with snow and ice operations work during the winter season.
The Irrigation Technician will work on projects such as startups, installations, winterizations, repairs, and maintenance, and more.
Essential Responsibilities
- Perform varied duties in the maintenance, repair, and installation of irrigation systems
- Maintain good recordkeeping and remain conscious of budget
- Follow safe working practices and make appropriate use of related safety equipment as required
- Build relationships and communicate effectively with customers to ensure satisfaction
- Perform additional duties as required, including on-call, variable work throughout each winter

Driver / Delivery Person
Full Time – Pay Based on Experience – Benefits Package
Job Description:
P&L Landscaping is seeking a Delivery Person to work out of our Material Center. This opportunity is open to the right candidate as a full-time, year-round position with benefits and tremendous growth potential.
The Delivery Person will need to know how to operate skid steers and backhoe loaders and will be responsible for loading trucks with the desired material and delivering to customers.
When not doing customer deliveries, responsibilities include running material to P&L crews and performing errands in our shop. Hours will be 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Mon – Fri with Saturday hours April through July.
The ideal candidate will:

Mechanic
Part to Full Time – Pay Based on Experience – Benefits Package (for Full Time)
Job Description:
P&L Landscaping is looking for a highly skilled and experienced mechanic. This opportunity is open to the right candidate as a full-time, year-round position with vacation and benefits.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a positive attitude and be able to work well with others.
- Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Preventative maintenance and repairs to our fleet of Ford trucks, both diesel and gas.
- Solid knowledge and experience with heavy equipment such as skid steers, backhoes, bark blowers, and Hydro seeders
- Knowledge of both diesel and gas engines
- Small engine/equipment knowledge, welding, fabrication, and body work are a plus.

P&L Landscaping is looking for experienced sales staff to join our team. This opportunity is open to the right candidate as a full-time year-round position with benefits and tremendous growth potential.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be able to use Excel and Quickbooks.
- Be self driven, punctual, and dependable.
- Minimum 5 years selling maintenance for comercial, condo and residential.
- Hardscape sales include hardscapes (retaining walls and walkways), lawn installations, irrigation installations, plantings & design. Ability to read blueprints.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Have exceptional organizational skills.

You will work with a team to sell beautiful landscapes throughout the Spring, Summer and Fall months and Snow Plowing Contracts for the Winter months.

Landscape Crew Member
$16 – $25 an hour – Benefits Package
Job Description:
As a Landscape Team Member, you will be expected to perform labor duties such as digging holes, lifting bricks & blocks, raking loam and other materials. Candidates should be able to lift 50 lbs. on and off throughout the workday. Skid steer and backhoe experience is a plus.
In the Winter months, you will be part of the snow removal team. This could include plowing, snow removal and clearing walks.

Snow Plow Operators

Job Description:
P&L Landscaping is looking for experienced snow plow operators. This opportunity is open to the right candidates as a part-time position with first choice of full-time positions available in the Spring.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a positive attitude and be able to work well with others.
- Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Operate snow plow equipment to clear snow and ice from roads, parking lots, and other designated areas.
- Monitor weather conditions and respond promptly to snow and ice events.
- Safely navigate and maneuver snow plow vehicles in accordance with local regulations and guidelines.
- Clear sidewalks, walkways, and entrances of snow and ice using manual tools as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate snow removal efforts and prioritize tasks.

Loader / Skid Steer Operator

P&L Landscaping is looking for a Winter Machine Operator with experience with Winter equipment such as loaders, skid steers, snow blowers, etc. This opportunity is open to the right candidates as a part-time position with first choice of full-time positions available in the Spring.
